A Carved Wood Figural Group of Iki Ningyo Wrestlers MEIJI PERIOD, LATE 19TH CENTURY depicting one wrestler standing using the Kawazu throw to lift the opponent, the other figure with his right arm stretched grasping the standing figure's neck, the naked bodies finely carved with detailed muscles and veins, both faces with fierce expression, having natural hair and some eyelashes, painted eyes, teeth and nails, raised on a rectangular wood stand with a two-character mark within a square panel to the lower left corner.
