A Famille Rose Porcelain Vase
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
the baluster body depicting the Tang Dynasty general Guo Ziyi dressed in layered robes holding a hu plaque in his right hand with two attendants, the reverse with four vertical lines of inscriptions in black ink and three red seals, the underside bearing a four-character Qianlong mark within a square panel in blue enamel, raised on a silk brocade stand.
Height 8 3/8 inches.
