A Victorian Yellow Gold, Emerald, Diamond and Polychrome Enamel Brooch,
in an openwork foliate and scrollwork motif, composed of an intricately textured lobed and scalloped plaque with wirework detail, embellished with leaves and fleur-de-lis sections accented with translucent green enamel together with blossoms in opaque white enamel, the plaque set with one oval cabochon cut emerald measuring approximately 8.66 x 6.20 mm, the plaque supporting a central multi section pendant of similar design, two pear shape cabochon cut emeralds measuring approximately 7.25 x 4.50 mm, one round cabochon cut emerald measuring approximately 4.60 mm in diameter, and one oval cabochon cut emerald measuring approximately 6.60 x 4.70 mm, the entire brooch containing 38 old mine cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.70 carats total, the brooch measuring approximately 103.00 x 38.00 mm.
