A Louis XV Style Gilt Metal and Sevres Style Porcelain Garniture
19TH CENTURY
the clock having a circular dial with Roman numeral hours marked RICHOND Ft. / BOULd. MONTMARTRE 21 / PARIS and flanked by two inset porcelain plaques each depicting a cherub playing a musical instrument, set within a case surmounted by a classically draped maiden playing a lyre and a putto playing horns, raised on a floral and foliate scroll cast base centered by a musical trophy; together with two six-light candelabra each in the form of a putto supporting floriform candle arms, raised on a Sevres style porcelain column over scroll feet.
Height of candelabra 26 1/2 inches.
