In Stalin's homeland, of Georgia, illustrations on the left show plowing with oxen, servitude, oppression of women, Muslims at prayer, tyranny and sickness. Illustrations on the right show new ways of life under the Soviet regime, including factories, tractors, hydroelectric dams and people pledging allegiance to the Communist Party.
