A Pair of Blue and White Porcelain Vases each of cylindrical form having an everted mouth, painted to the front depicting magpies perched on prunus branches, the reverse with characters shuying hengxie, signed Wang Bu (1898-1968), dated wu zi qiu ("the autumn in wu zi year"), bearing a two-character mark in underglaze blue to the underside. Height of pair 6 7/8 inches.
