A Carved Bamboo Brush Pot, Bitong the cylindrical pot having a band of flower heads along the mouth, carved on one side depicting scholars with attendants beneath trees with pavilions in the distance within a rectangular panel, the reverse with two shaped reserves, one enclosing a peacock, the other two deer, the sides having a four-line inscription. Height 5 7/8 inches.
