Two Famille Rose Porcelain Snuff Bottles LIKELY 19TH CENTURY the first of rectangular form with rounded shoulders, the front painted to depict an official in an interior scene, the reverse with a garden scene with blooming trees, the sides decorated with bats suspending floral sprays against a blue ground, the base bearing a four-character Qianlong iron red mark, raised on a fitted hardwood stand; the second of meiping form, the tapering body painted depicting a warring scene possibly from the Chinese Classic 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' on a crackled ground, raised on a fitted hardwood circular stand.
