LATE 19TH CENTURY
with a galleried marble-inset top over a swagged drapery-mounted frieze, the drop-down writing surface inset with glass-covered painted canvas panels depicting putti and muses against a gold ground, having ribbon-tied garland mounts and open niches with quarter-round marble-inset shelves at the sides, raised on fluted tapering legs headed by lion masks, joined by a marble-inset medial shelf and ending in foliate caps.
Height 44 1/4 x width 41 x depth 14 inches.
