19TH CENTURY, AFTER THE MODEL BY J.J. KANDLER
emblematic of water, the handle formed as ribbon-tied reeds joined to a shell-form spout with an applied figure of a putto, the neck painted with scattered insects above an applied figure of Neptune riding a shell at the shoulder, the body model with a fleet of warships in low relief and a Nereid emerging from the sea drawn by hippocampi, marked underneath with crossed swords in underglaze blue and double cancellation marks.
