Lot Description
A Large Chinese Bronze Covered Censer
19TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY EARLIER
of ovoid form, the body worked to show temple guardians amongst ruyi clouds and auspicious elements, mounted at the shoulder with chilong handles, surmounted by a domed openworked cover with a temple guardian finial, the whole raised on lion mask capped feet, bearing a double shou character mark to the underside.
Height 18 inches.
