A Massive Silver Inlaid and Polychrome Bronze Censer LIKELY EARLY 20TH CENTURY in five parts, the censer of square sectioned form, having a shou character decorated frieze over a figural panel depicting warring scenes, surmounted by an openworked lift-off cover surmounted by a Buddhistic lion, flanked to each side by detachable archaistic scroll handles, raised on mask capped feet and a shaped plinth ending in stylized scroll feet.
