A Large Chinese Iron Bell CHENGHUA PERIOD cast with vertical and horizontal lines joined by circular plaques forming rectangular panels, surmounted by a double-dragon handle, having inscriptions reading Chenghua shi'er nian shi'er yue jiri li (made on an auspicious day in December in the twelfth year of Chenghua reign, corresponding to year 1477.)
