A Large Chinese Archaistic Bronze Vase MING DYNASTY OR EARLIER the baluster body rising to a cylindrical neck tapering to a flared mouth, cast with taotie mask decoration against a leiwen ground with four arched handles suspending loose rings and flanges, the shoulder set with three recumbent rams, the neck having further loose rings and lion mask with the interior incised with four characters. Height 20 inches.
