A Chinese Jadeite Figure of Guanyin
LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
of a pale white, lavender and mottled green stone, depicting the robed bodhisattva seated with one hand on her knee and the other holding a scroll, her hair braided, raised on an openworked lotus scroll hardwood stand.
Height of jade 4 3/4 inches.
