A Chinese Lavender Jadeite Fang Ding
LATE QING DYNASTY/MID-20TH CENTURY
carved on each side with archaistic dragons, the domed lift-off cover surmounted by openworked dueling dragons flanking a knopped finial, having stylized beast mask handles supporting loose ring handles to the sides, raised on lion's mask capped legs with scroll carved block feet.
Height 11 3/4 inches.
