A Chinese Jadeite Plaque LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY of a white and mottled apple green stone, the rectangular plaque carved in relief depicting a mountainous landscape with lotus and a floating boat, the reverse depicting a scholar on a bridge amongst bamboo, pine and prunus trees, raised on a fitted hardwood stand. Height of jadeite 4 x width 3 1/4 inches.
