Two Carved Jade Snuff Bottles SUZHOU SCHOOL both black stones of circular form, carved throughout in high relief incorporating white skins, the first depicting a continuous mountainous landscape with two scholars toasting with an attendant under pine trees emerging from rockery, having a pink quartz stopper, the second carved to the front depicting two maidens beneath trees beside rockwork, one sitting playing a musical instrument qin, the other standing holding a fan, the reverse with Su Wu and three rams in mountain, having a red coral stopper. Height of taller 2 7/8 inches.
