A Pierce Carved Jade Plaque
POSSIBLY 18TH/19TH CENTURY
the rectangular white stone having minor grey inclusions, the central bi disc on one side carved with twelve characters and C-scroll decoration, the reverse depicting a sinuous dragon amongst ruyi-head shaped clouds and three bats, raised on a fitted hardwood stand.
Length of jade 5 5/8 inches.
