An Italian Baroque Eglomise Inset and Gilt Bronze Mounted Ebony Cabinet on Stand, LATE 17TH CENTURY AND LATER, in two parts, the upper cabinet of breakfront outline surmounted by a galleried top above a central architectural cupboard door and secret drawers, flanked by a bank of eight drawers to each side, each drawer panel depicting an Italian port or town, the lower section of rectangular form enclosing three simulated drawers raised on spiral twist supports joined by stretchers ending in ball feet. Height 73 1/2 x width 63 5/8 x depth 18 1/4 inches.
