Housed in modern green cloth-backed clamshell case, gilt-lettered spine. First edition, with "visiter" for "sister," part IV, p. 123, line 17, and "latter" for "letter," part V, six lines up, p. 160. With 40 plates by "Phiz." Fading to slipcase; light soiling and marginal chipping to wraps; scattered brownspotting; lacking 10 pages publisher's advertisements to parts III and VIII; "no plates" notice but both plates present, vol. XIV; rear wrapper for part 19/20 is for Part 15.
