An American Ivory Handled Cane, 19th century, having a carved handle in the shape of a snarling dog's head with amber inset eyes, with a sterling silver collar on a Macassar ebony shaft, ending in a sterling ferrule and a steel tip. Width of handle 2 1/2 x length overall 35 3/4 inches.
