A German Bronze Figure, Jeremias Christensen (1859-1908), Boy of the Mountain, depicting the young male wearing a loin cloth and holding a club behind his back, raised on a naturalistic rocky base, signed Christensen with Gladenbeck's Brocegiesseer foundry mark, further set on a rectangular marble plinth. Height 13 1/4 inches.
