A Neoclassical Gilt and Patinated Bronze Mantel Clock, Theodore B. Starr, New York, NY, Works by Jean Vincenti & Cie (founded 1823), France, Circa 1900
The case with applied gilt bronze mounts to spandrels and lower register, depicting pegasi, masques, trumpeting putti, and anthemia, the enamel dial inscribed, "Theodore B. Starr/ New York," centered and surrounded by gilt bronze mounts depicting angels, the works marked, "Vincenti & Cie/ Medaille D'Argent 1855," "Made in France," "A.1," and "6414/7.7."
