A Rare Daniel Pabst Signed and Dated Oak Framed Mirror, Daniel Pabst (German-American, 1826-1910), Philadelphia, PA, Dated "1884"
Inscribed on verso, "Made from an oak joist taken from the Dwelling of WILLIAM PENN in Letitia Street. Built in 1682" and "Designed and Carved by Daniel Pabst Philadelphia 1884." This frame is one of only two known signed Pabst works.
