Lot Description

A Sèvres style Napoleonic gilt and enamel-decorated part dejeuner, bearing pseudo imperial marks, late 19th century

Comprising a tray, two teacups, and two saucers, all bearing various scenes depicting Napoleonic military campaigns and travels, identified to undersides as follows: "Eylau 1837," "Napoleon chez David," "Bataille de Valmy," and "Passage de la Berezina," and each scene signed by artist, "Clerfond"; the undersides all marked with hand-written red overlaze mark, "Mre Imple de Sèvres," the tray also marked, "France."
