A pair of Regency ebonized and parcel-gilt firescreens with painted velvet theorem panels, circa 1820
Each with turned and carved supports with pineapple and tapered spiral, on round molded base with gilt bronze paw-form feet, the octagonal screens composed of giltwood frames containing painted theorems on velvet, baskets with fruit, both retaining old labels to underside, inscribed, "Property of Mrs. J.A. Haskell."
