A Russian eighteen-piece enamel-decorated porcelain tea and coffee service, Popov Manufactory (1811-1875), circa 1825
Comprising a coffeepot, a teapot, a covered sugar dish, a creamer, seven teacups, and seven saucers, each with cobalt ground and gilt, with oval reserves depicting bucolic Italianate scenes, all marked to undersides with blue underglaze ".." and hand-painted "AP" in Cyrillic.
