having a wide floral and foliage decorated border surrounding a well decorated with a house and a group of spaniels, each marked with their name: Royalist, Blythe Boy, Bess, Derek and Stormer; impressed Wedgwood to underside, further signed Painted by Alfred Powell for F.L. Thorley Etruria, Feb. 1929.
