Two Appliqued Cotton Quilts, Pennsylvania, 19th Century

The first, hand-sewn in a "Feather and flower" pattern worked in solid red on a muslin ground; the second, hand-sewn in a "Flowerhead and grape" wreath pattern enclosed by berry vine border, worked in solid red and green on a muslin ground.
