Presentation copy, inscribed by the illustrator and artist Jean Hugo, in blue gouache on half-title, to his friend Richard J. Wattenmaker, and with an original illustration depicting a view of Paris with Eiffel Tower in background, by Hugo above same, also in blue gouache. 12mo. Illustrated with an etched frontispiece and eight etched head-pieces by Hugo. Publisher's stiff printed blue wrappers, spine and extremities faded.
