A Brass-Inlaid Wrought Iron Fireplace Trammel, French or Flemish, Probably Early 19th Century

The backplate engraved with bird and floral devices, with brass-inlaid terminal depicting a five-pointed star, and with raised initials, "CJ," the bottom hook cast with two serpent heads to terminal.
