A Group of Five Baroque Wrought Iron Furniture Mounts, French, Swedish, or German, 16th - 18th Century
In the Mannerist style, comprising a figural escutcheon of a mythical woman, Swedish or Germanic, 18th century; a figural escutcheon of a griffin; two engraved plaques, one depicting two hippocampi flanked by floral urns, German, 17th century, the second pierced, depicting two helmeted faces; and a small pierced grill with Gothic tracery, French, circa 1500.
