A Gandharan Grey Schist Relief Depicting Buddha Visiting Kashyapa, 2nd/3rd Century

The rectangular panel carved to the front in high relief shows the Buddha seated, backed by a large halo, Vajrapani standing on his left, a younger figure to his right conversing with two Kashyapa and his followers.
Height 9 13/16 x length 13 3/8 in., 25 x 34 cm.
