Intimate studio portrait of an African American nanny holding a white child dressed in a voluminous gown. 2 1/4 x 3 5/8 in. CDV on larger cardstock mount (some wear to print and mount edges). Washington, DC: John Goldin & Co. Verso with photographer's imprint and period manuscript identification, "Mrs. Mary S. Stetson." -- Portrait of an aged African American gentleman seated in a wicker chair, affectionately posed with a young white girl. 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. silver gelatin photograph on 4 1/4 x 6 3/8 in. cardstock mount (very fine condition). Uncredited, n.d., ca early 20th century. -- Outdoor portrait of an African American woman who looks lovingly at a white child sitting upon her knee. 4 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. silver gelatin photograph on 8 x 10 3/8 in. cardstock mount (toning and some chipping to mount edges). Uncredited, ca 1926. With manuscript notation to mount verso, "Georgia and Aunt Ella Edmonds - about 1926. Aunt Ella was born in Slavery." -- Together, 3 photographs.
