Receipt notes payment received and itemizes services including attending "Negroes" and "Opening abcess [sic] Overseers child." -- Account of George [?] W. Ashby with Dr. Strother J. Wallis, [n.p.], February - December 1861. 1p, approx. 6 1/2 x 9 in. Receipt totals fees for visits throughout the year including for "Visit and dressing wound for [negro] Clay," "Visit to negro boy hurt by colt," and "Visit & delivering placenta for Negro Martha." -- Account of Capt.
