Blacksmith wearing an apron, posed with a hammer and horseshoe, under paper mat. -- Man with wide-brimmed hat who appears to hold a writing utensil and piece of paper, as if he is jotting something down. -- Mustachioed cowboy wearing a tall hat, holding a large rope in one hand while resting the other hand on a chair beside him, under paper mat. -- Tintype of two curious characters seated together, one strumming a banjo, the other playing what appears to be a violin. -- Seated view of two rough and tumble men, one with a guitar in hand.
