CDV on cardstock mount showing a large group of men, including several prisoners in striped uniforms, standing on the grounds of the Ohio State Penitentiary in Columbus, Ohio. Verso with title and photographer's imprint.

During the Civil War, the Ohio State Penitentiary was the site of the imprisonment and escape of Confederate General John Hunt Morgan.
