8vo, original red cloth, with gilt lettering (wear to extremities, some separation to spine, and moisture damage to back cover). 264pp; frontis is an illustration of one of Mosby's raids (some unevenness to book block, with portions separating from spine, general toning to edges and occasional spotting). Front free endpaper signed "Jno. S. Mosby."
