Herculaneum Pottery, England, Early 19th Century
one side with bust-length portrait of Thomas Jefferson enclosed by linked floral garland with names of the fifteen states; the opposite with lyrics to "Hail, Columbia" with Jefferson's name, suggesting manufacture during his presidency (1801-1809).
