8 volumes, tall 8vo. Numerous wood-engraved illustrations. Half contemporary blue calf, marbled boards, spines in 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, lettering-pieces in 2, others gilt, marbled edges (extremities rubbed). Provenance: Minnie Elizabeth Maryon-Wilson (née Thornhill), 11th Baronetess (bookplate and gift signature dated 1879).
