Lot Description
Lot of Two WWI-era German Officer's Lion Head Swords
31.5" to 32" with the longer of the two featuring etched designs and the ACS logo of Alexander Coppel of Solingen, and the other with single fullered blade struck with the SMF/SOLINGEN logo. Both swords feature brass hilts with lionhead pommels, crossed swords to the guards, and patent leather wrapped grips. SMF sword comes with a black enamel finished scabbard while the ACS saber comes in a nickel plated example.
