Lever action repeating rifle fed by a full length tube magazine and mounting half length handguard. Sights consist of a front blade and a repaired fixed rear notch, the latter sight has had the notch sheared off and replaced with brass. Upper tang has split, and been brass brazed back together. Top of the tang struck with standard three-line Winchester model marking. Markings to barrel are weak due to refinish. Brass to forward edge of lever suggesting it too was cracked and repaired.
