Lot Description

**Tula Arsenal SKS Dated 1952 with Accessories

7.62x39. 20" barrel length. SN: ZI1540 (Cyrillic Serial Number). Blued arsenal refinish overall set in laminated wood stock with birchwood upper handguard and folding spike bayonet. Short-stroke piston driven semi-automatic rifle featuring an internal magazine charged with stripper clips, and utilizing the tilting bolt locking principle. Dustcover shows the {Arrow in Star} logo of the Tula arsenal above a date of 1952, and a boxed Ukrainian SSR rearsenal stamp. Item displays scattered Soviet inspection marks. Majority of serial numbers match, but the gas tube is electropenned with nonmatching Cyrillic serial number corresponding to VYu0200. Comb and toe of the stock are both spliced. Rifle comes in a cardboard shipping box with accessories including: cleaning rod, Chinese synthetic oiler, English language owner's manual by Keng's Firearms Specialty, Inc., Chinese spike bayonet in unopened package, Chinese canvas sling, and a green canvas Chicom SKS vest.
