**Enfield SMLE Mk. III Converted Riot Shotgun .410 Gauge
World War I, World War II
.410 Gauge. 25.2" barrel length. SN: 7731. Blued metal refinish set in walnut semi pistol grip stock with full length two-piece upper handguard mounting brass buttplate. Bolt action single-shot riot shotgun mounting adjustable tangent rear notch and front blade sights with protectors. Right stock ring is struck with maker marking reading {Crown/GR/ENFIELD/1912/SHTLE/III}. Item shows scattered British military proof markings.
