Barrel shank further shows the 1891/59 marking, indicating the rifle was converted to carbine after the end of World War II. Item shows some scattered Soviet inspection and arsenal marks. Serial numbers match on barrel shank, bolt, magazine floorplate, and buttplate. Comes with Soviet pattern canvas dog collar sling with weak Cyrillic production marks.
