**Mauser Produced Swedish Mauser Converted to M/38 Short Rifle
World War I, World War II
6.5x55mm. 23.75" barrel length. SN: O.G1645. Blued metal refinish with polished bolt set in walnut straight wrist stock with half length upper handguard mounting adjustable tangent rear notch and front blade sights with threaded muzzle for mounting blank adapter. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle featuring cock on close action. Rifle mounts front and rear sling loops with right butt mounting a brass conversion disc. Forward receiver is marked WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N/1900. Rifle shows mixed serial numbers. Standard Swedish {Crown} proof marks scattered overall.
