Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle with adjustable tangent rear notch and post and globe front sights. Barrel shank is struck with the marking for Factory 296 followed by a date mark of 1953.10. Serial numbers match on the barrel shank, bolt, and magazine floorplate. Buttplate is struck with Soviet Cyrillic prefixed serial number. The lack of visible importer markings on this rifle suggests it is most likely a bringback rifle, and may have been captured in Vietnam or Korea. Lacks bringback papers.
