Lot of Two Japanese Type 32 Ko Cavalry Sabers
1) 32.25" slightly curved single edged tanto tip blade. 35.5" in overall length. 5.5" hilt with partial basket sheet steel guard and checkered wood grip. Serial number 121829 on reverse ricasso. Includes a steel scabbard with no serial number on the drag.
2) 32.25" slightly curved single edged tanto tip blade. 35.5" in overall length. 5.5" hilt with partial basket sheet steel guard and checkered wood grip. Serial number 129774 on reverse ricasso. The wood grip has been painted red and the balance of the hilt is painted black, including the guard. Includes a steel scabbard painted silver with serial number 86075 on the drag.
