WWI-era German W.K.&C. M1889 Presentation Sword of the 3rd Royal Bavarian Chevau-Legers
World War I

32.75" blade length. 41" overall with scabbard and hilt. Straight single edged fullered blade with spearpoint tip set in a nickel plated hilt with synthetic grips. Right ricasso is struck with the {King and Helmet}/W.K. &C mark of Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. Blade features etched borders and olive branches enclosing a horse head and charging Uhlans to the left blade above a geometric pattern, and a panoply of arms followed by Kgl. Bayr. 3. Chevauf. Rgt. Herzog Carl Theodor. Item comes with a black enamel finished steel scabbard.
